STEAM activities from Wales

STEAM is strongly linked to ICT and Innovation. We need to share our experience and promote the use of new technologies as drivers of improvement, designing innovative practices by including digital learning using digital tools, robotics and coding, collaborative knowledge and open education resources, within the EU Digital Education Action Plan framework. In addition, our STEAM project will develop social and intercultural competences by exchanging cultural heritage of all participants’ countries. 

STEAM is important because it pervades every part of our lives. Science is everywhere in the world around us. Technology is continuously expanding into every aspect of our lives. Engineering is the basic designs of roads and bridges but also tackles the challenges of changing global weather and environmentally-friendly changes to our home. Mathematics is in every occupation, every activity we do in our lives. Art is connected to creativity; any form of art is a great way to express yourself. Let’s express ourselves through the Activities in our “Boxes of Challenges”. Thanks to Wales!
